Samic tradition

We drive together to the moose farm located around 40km away. Here we gain an insight into these imposing animals and also have the opportunity to experience them close up. After a brief coffee break we travel to the reindeer farm approx. 10 km away. Here, we are greeted by a traditionally dressed Sami. He gives us an insight into the history of reindeer breeding and the lives of the animals. We subsequently enjoy a snack and drinks in a Kota, whilst we are given further fascinating details on the life of a Sami. We then travel back to the POLARCTIS Lodge.
